There is no better place to learn
Spanish than in beautiful Malaga (Spain) and we are confident
that you will immediately feel at home in Malaga, with its palm
and orange tree-lined streets, inviting beaches and a temperate
climate (25º-35ºC in summer and 15º-25ºC in
winter with an average temperature of 22ºC=72°F). With
about 650,000 inhabitants, Malaga,
in the southern coast of Spain, is the second largest city in Andalusia
and the centre of the Costa del Sol. It is the cultural, social
and economic heart of this region in Spain. Nevertheless, Malaga
city still has been spared from mass-tourism which is concentrated
along the coast in Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola
and Marbella. But the historical background of Malaga alone is worth
a journey. Not to mention its most famous artist Picasso who was
born in Malaga in 1881.
You can visit not only his birth house, but also since 2003 the
Picasso museum which is situated in an ancient castle, only 100
metres away from our school.
Our language
school Academia AIFP occupies the first floor of an ancient
building constructed in 1481 as part of the "Palacio de Villalcazar".
It is situated next door to the Chamber of Commerce (Cámara
de Comercio de Malaga) in the historical centre of Malaga, only
50 m away from the big cathedral and surrounded by cafes, the main
shopping areas, and about a 10-minutes walk from the beach.
We are looking forward to meeting you at Academia AIFP and wish
you an eventful stay in our language school and in Malaga.
